Call of the Wind

Nature is calling! Climate change is having a big impact on our wildlife,

and we need YOU to help spread awareness!

You could see your work published in the University of Plymouth’s fifth anthology of young people’s writing.

This years theme is:

Climate change

We’re looking for writing about Plymouth’s nature

and the impact climate change is having on our parks and wildlife, responding

to one of the following questions:

What impact is climate change having on nature?

What does climate change mean for your future?

Do you have a message for the people of Plymouth and beyond?

Tell us your thoughts with a poem or short story. You might even

want to create an illustration alongside! You can work in groups

or by yourself, but all entries must be writing in your

own words (don’t be afraid to ask a teacher/parent/adult for help).

You can send your submissions to

plymouthanthology@outlook.com

with your name, age, school and the title of your piece.

The deadline for submissions is

Friday 18th February 2022.

Good luck!
